Lareka x Stelvi: another sweet success!

Another week, another NP60 successfully installed and operational!

Last week, one of our engineers traveled to Estonia to install Lareka’s NP60 machine for the company Stelvi, a project that highlights the importance of flexibility in a continuously changing production environment. 

Stelvi is not just a typical chocolate maker. They transform simple chocolate tablets into personalized gifts for companies, events and special occasions. For their customers, presentation is key: custom designs, branded wraps and packaging that turns a standard tablet into something personal. 

This results in many small orders and frequent changes of packaging designs and styles. One customer may request a bandwrap while another prefers a full envelope. To handle this variety efficiently, flexibility and fast size changeover are a must. 

Stelvi’s goal was clear: one machine that could handle variety without slowing them down.

And that’s why we configured their new NP60 now to handle 10 different wrapping styles for both Napolitains and larger sizes, as well as two tablet formats, while running up to 60 perfectly packed tablets per minute. Additionally, size changes can be completed in only 20 minutes and switching to a new packaging design for the same product takes as little as 5 minutes.

This allows Stelvi to move quickly from one order to the next one without losing valuable production time. 

For chocolate makers, flexibility is essential. Product ranges expand, seasonal editions come and go and packaging needs to be changed.
