Lareka x Lambertz & Visser: from Chocolate Tablets to Personalized Gifts

Behind every premium chocolate bars, there is smart packaging 🍫

Last year, Lambertz & Visser installed a Lareka BTB25 to support their premium chocolate wrapping range. Their company strives for the wow-factor and keeps surprising their customers with innovative and trendy product concepts, materials, styles and presentation. Their assortment is built around gift and retail appeal, where packaging is not just for the product protection but also, a key part of the customer experience. 

Their goal was to use many different designs interchangeably to wrap their products without slowing down production.

While keeping this in mind, we aimed at designing and engineering the perfect match for Lambertz & Visser. 

As a result of that, we programmed their BTB25 as follows:

• Able to wrap both a chocolate bar with fillings (ex. Dubai filling) and a plain 100gr bar. 
• 2x materials: A first layer of aluminum laminate paper and a second layer of paper
• Full envelope wrapping style

And it doesn’t end here, the BTB25 perfectly wraps around 25 chocolate tablets per minute which can result in +/- 10.000 bars for an 8-hours working shift.

Customers such as Lambertz & Visser are a great example of how personalisation is recently becoming the main focus of many chocolate makers’ growth strategy. From Valentine’s day paper designs to their own adaptations of the Dubai chocolate, chocolate makers are free to express their creativity. Additionally, personalisation is extremely popular as it allows customers to express their personalities through their purchases.
