Introducing our new colleague Joëlle!

We are delighted to welcome Joëlle to Lareka as our new Order Process Coordinator. In her role, she will guide customers from the moment an order is placed all the way to the delivery of their machine – making sure everything runs smoothly.

Joëlle is truly a world citizen. Born in South Korea, she grew up in countries across Africa and Europe, including Algeria, the Central African Republic, Senegal, France, Tanzania, Guinea and Hungary. Along the way she picked up an impressive set of language skills: she speaks Dutch, English and French fluently, and also knows some Spanish, Hungarian and Swahili.

Fun fact: during her time in French Guiana, she once witnessed the launch of an Ariane rocket! 🚀

What makes Joëlle stand out is her hands-on attitude. In previous roles she even picked up technical skills like welding and installing air conditioning units. With her curiosity and drive, she’s now eager to explore the world of chocolate machinery.

Outside of work, Joëlle enjoys spending time with her cats, cooking, and organizing events for her friends. And for something a little more action-packed: she plays airsoft, with her SCAR, she’s a force to be reckoned with on the field!
